I rather enjoyed it. It eats you from inside The life events of everyone may not be as extreme as his or may be worse , but I think they're just as significant. It cannot be helped. This is the reason that Eddie's father, a harsh and abusive man, became a part of Ruby's Heaven. And Eddie finally realizes that shadow he had seen all those years ago in the burning hut, and in his nightmares for most of his life afterward, was indeed not imagined - the little girl had been that shadow attempting to flee the flames. Eddie's first stop in Heaven is Ruby Pier, 75 years before the day he died. However, she answers that she loved the fairground and their life on the pier, and the only thing she regretted was them not being able to have any children. I expected a good story, but I didn't expect such real characters or the beautiful imagery that makes you feel like you're there. His lips were thin and his face was long and drawn. The Blue Man teaches Eddie the lesson of human connection—that all lives are connected, even those of strangers. When he is done meeting all five of the people, he gets to choose his heaven, and then the book ends. He dropped his car keys in the Freddy's Free Fall ride, causing its gears to jam and its cable to snap. My favorite character in this book was the Blue Man, because I leaned about the way silver nitrate was used as medicine long, long ago and how this man drank so much silver nitrate to help ease his tension and his jumpy behavior that he turned blue. The fourth person he meets is his wife.

I can easily say that this is a therapeutic novel that will help a person who is filled with sadness and feelings of unworthiness feel better. It turns out all endings are also beginnings. Ruby Pier had the usual attractions, a Ferris wheel, bumper cars and an arcade. Mickey Shea, a man who worked on rides at Ruby Pier with Eddie's father, was at Eddie's house drunk and in a terrible emotional state.

I love philosophy, I love good lessons, I love good ideas. They also become the sweets I share to celebrate when life offers me a reason to. Would not ever recommend this book to anyone. If you want a good fiction book, this is a MUST read!
